FAKIN MALVASIA

Fakin Malvasia is a dry wine with a straw-yellow color and greenish shades, creamy and full-bodied, featuring distinctive varietal aromas and a pleasant, well-rounded mineral taste. This gentle and silky wine with a playful and authentic character exudes elegance and freshness, along with citrus and floral nuances.

The olfactory palette consists of fresh white fruit and citrus notes in the forefront, accompanied by subtle floral and herbal hints in the background, including flavors of narcissus, daisy, chamomile, currant leaf, meadow, and green tea. On the palate, the wine delivers energetic freshness, with fruit aromas of green apple, pear, lime, kiwi, green grapefruit, and lemon.

Malvasia matures for six months in stainless steel barrels, and the ideal serving temperature is from 8°C to 12°C. This wine pairs perfectly with white fish, seafood risotto, and other lighter dishes typical of Mediterranean cuisine.

Fakin Wines Teran

FAKIN TERAN

Teran is the most important indigenous red grape variety in the Istrian region, and young Teran exhibits a ruby-red color with purple highlights, which turns into brick-red tones with longer aging. It is characterized by a full and robust body with a lavish aroma reminiscent of raspberry and other berries like blackberry and currant.

The fearless and resolute nature of young Teran combines finesse and elegance, with pleasant freshness and fine tannins that provide roundedness, a long-lasting taste, and excellent balance.

This wine is ideal for longer aging, produced through a fermentation process lasting 21 days and maturing for eight months in stainless steel barrels. For a complete gastronomic experience, Teran is served at a temperature of 16°C to 18°C, pairing wonderfully with bluefish, red meat dishes, and mature cheeses.

FAKIN YELLOW MUSCAT

Yellow Muscat is a white, aromatic grape variety that belongs to the Muscat group. It is mostly grown in Istria and northern Italy, where it is often used for producing dessert wines. This wine is known for its large, loose clusters of deep yellow berries and golden color.

In addition to its authentic and adventurous character, Yellow Muscat is characterized by a unique and intensely fruity taste, as well as a strong body. It exudes fine freshness and structure, with pronounced fruity Muscat aromas and floral scents. It pairs excellently with desserts, served at a temperature of 6°C to 8°C.

This semi-dry wine surprises with its fruity harmony of flavors and long-lasting, pleasant freshness, where its energetic and original aromas are complemented by a rich texture and sweet, rich flavors.

This lively sparkling wine completes the range of current Fakin wines, offering freshness and crispness, with delightful flavors of ripe apple and hints of brioche. Its crystal-clear brilliance and elegant body, along with the enchanting charm of its bubbles, reflect the irresistible ease of life in Istria.

Chamal is meant to be enjoyed slowly throughout the day, and its liveliness and versatility are perfectly paired with a wide range of dishes, best served at 6°C to 8°C.
